Our dumpster diet

Food we've scored so far: 9 containers of juicy juice (Goshen Great Valu); couple of baguettes, mozerella balls, bruchetta, more bread, salads, ravioli, and a small pine tree (which we didn't eat) from Trader Joe's. Fun moment of serendity when Joel had gotten us on 86th Street, where he thought the store was, when Stan noticed that we were 82nd street somehow at the same time that Mike spotted the Trader Joe's. This morning we got a Purnell's Old Folks Whole Hog Country Sausage and Biscuits Value Pack and a quart of milk (ghetto Kroger in Indy). Have yet to try the milk. And this evening we got a bunch of apples, carrots, onions, jalapenos, mangoes, an eggplant, and a prickly pair cactus leaf (Kroger's in Louisville).

Also, thank you Veloris and Peace House for hosting us last evening! Thank you Nate and Ang for a wonderful supper, conversation, and dominoes! To Joel for getting us to Indy and showing us a good time! And to Alisa, Ben, Emily, and Urban Corps for hosting us tonight!

Hey! Any idea where you guys'll be March 4-9? 'Cause that's my spring break and if you're near a major airport maybe I'll fly out and join you for a few days.
